A safety device is specified, able to continuously control the temperature inside freezers and refrigerators, to make sure that it never passes a level which no longer guarantees the proper keeping of the food contained therein. The device generates an alarm either when an instantaneous maximum accepted temperature value is passed or when a threshold value of the temperature integrated as a function of a certain time setting is passed.
