A synthetic particulate vector is disclosed and is characterized in that it has selective tropism for a type of cell and that it comprises: a non liquid hydrophilic nucleus, a first layer or crown of a lipid nature linked to the nucleus by covalent bonds, a second layer or external film of phospholipids linked to the firs layer by hydrophobic interactions, B apolipoprotein molecules attached to the phospholipid layer. A method of preparing said vector and a pharmaceutical composition containing it are also disclosed.
