The tray is obtained from a sheet 1 which forms the bottom and two pairs of strips 6 and 7 which form the side faces thereof which are glued on folded, marginal tabs of said bottom. The improvements consist in arranging the tabs 5 of the bottom corresponding to the endpieces outside the latter, specifically between the endpiece 7 and the wings 10 which, as an extension of the major side walls 6 constitute a double external partition for said endpiece.
