A fiber glass reinforced plastic can be in-moldcoated utilizing a free radical peroxide initiatedthermosetting composition of at least one polymerizableepoxy based oligomer having at least two acrylate groups,at least one copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturatedmonomer, at least one copolymerizable monoethylenicallyunsaturated compound having a -CO- group and a -NH2, -NH-and/or -OH group, and other conventional components suchas at least one zinc salt of a fatty acid, at least oneaccelerator, at least one filler, and the like. Thethermosetting compositions of the present invention utilizea very low or nil amount of an adhesion agent suchas a polyvinyl acetate and unexpectedly achieves betterflow and good coverage at reduced coating weights.
