¬LEU13 MOTILIN, DNAS CODING FOR SAME AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SAME

摘要

A novel motilin analog peptide containing leucineinstead of the usual 13th amino acid methionine, as in thenaturally occurring motilin, is produced by generecombination techniques in which several or identical genes,each coding for the novel peptide, are joined in seriesinto a vector. The resultant recombinant DNA isintroduced into Escherichia coli and the resultanttransformant is cultivated. The resulting polymericpeptide can be cleaved to give the desired peptide.
