APPARATUS AND COMBINE PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POTABLE WATER AND SLUSH FROM SEA WATER OR WASTE BRINE

Apparatus and the process are designed to produce potable water and slush fromsea water. The apparatus combines the unique desalination capabilities of theREVERSE OSMOSIS process in the first stage and the SLUSH making processon the second stage. The special feature of the apparatus is of using the highconcentrated brine waste from the REVERSE OSMOSIS process to produce thelow temperature (minus 2°C to minus 3°C) SLUSH. This combination rendersapparatus free of "freeze-up" troubles, allowing the fishermen to stay in the opensea for significantly longer time having CONTINUOUSLY portable water as wellas Slush for the catch preservation.Furthermore, the combination of the desalination and refrigeration technologiesincreases the water purification efficiency or recovery rate of the REVERSEOSMOSIS process up to twenty percent.
