The invention relates to a system for processing informations resulting fromthe interaction of a gamma particle with a CdTe radiation detector (1) having:- a charge amplifier (3) able to transform said informations into analogpulses,- electronic measuring means (4) incorporating an amplitude circuit (10)ensuring the acquisition of the amplitude of the pulse giving the startinginstant of the measurement of the pulse rise time and a time circuit (18)ensuring a detection of the end of the pulse rise time, said two circuitsbeing coupled in order to ensure their synchronization and the determinationof the pulse rise time and- radioactive sources and software ensuring:. a calibration of the response of the detector as a function of the risetime,. a modelling of the detector charge losses and. a correction of the detector charge losses as a function of the rise timesupplied by the measuring means.
