This invention relates to coating media based on one or more styrene-free, unsaturatedpolyester resins, which containA) one or more unsaturated polyesters obtainable by the reaction ofa) 0.5 to 1.0 mole of at least one alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturateddicarboxylic acid or the anhydride thereof,b) 0 to 0.5 mole of at least one aromatic, aliphatic and/or cycloaliphaticsaturated dicarboxylic acid or the anhydride thereof,c) 0.4 to 0.8 mole of at least one aliphatic saturated dihydric alcohol,d) 0.5 to 1.2 mole of at least one hydroxy-functional allyl ether,B) one or more polyglycol diacrylates of general formulawhere n = 2 - 5 and m = 2 - 5,C) one or more initiators, andoptionally one or more organic solvents, one or more pigments and/or extenders, as wellas accelerators, catalysts and/or customary lacquer additives.
