Mineral oil-free solvent for ether-based printing inks

The production disclosed of mineral oil-free printing inks characterized in that the solvent used contains dialkyl ether with 6 to 72 C atoms and optional fatty acid esters. Also disclosed are printing inks that contain binders, pigments and solvents that contain dialkyl ether and optional fatty acid esters, as well as other optional additives.
