An endoprobe for use to effect retinal reattachment is provided. The endoprobe includes a tubular element (28) having proximal and distal ends, at least one optical fiber element (42) disposed within the tubular element (28), and a plurality of laser light outlets (43) defined through a side wall of said tubular element. The at least one optical fiber element (42) is adapted to conduct laser light from the proximal end of the tubular element (28) to the laser light outlets (43), thereby to direct laser light radially of the tubular element.
