In a hollow-charge projectile having a percussion fuse and a spacer (6) in front of the hollow charge (1), with the spacer (6) extended the formation of the spike and therefore a high penetration effect are guaranteed. But if the spacer (6) is not extended or is extended only partially, such a warhead displays a substantially intensified side effect on relatively thin (also reactive) armouring.
