A series of moulded-case low voltage circuit breakers is produced from standard single-pole units (10), having a box (11) made of insulating moulded material and containing the contacts, and the cutout chambers. A multi-pole circuit breaker is produced by placing several single-pole units (10) in a common case (31), leaving a gap, defined by a spacer (32), between the single-pole units (10) in order to produce a modularity defined by the width of the case of the single-pole circuit breaker of the range.
