Guiding and positioning system for a seedling tray on a soil plug planter

The positioning and guidance system essentially consists of a seedling tray holder (2) guided vertically on a carriage (3), itself guided horizontally relative to a frame (4) on which are fixed means for ejecting the soil plugs and means for taking hold of the said soil plugs and planting them out. The seedling tray holder (2) is in the form of a plate equipped with passages (20) for the ejection means and horizontal slots (16) corresponding to the lines of the cells. These horizontal slots (16) are joined together and form a sort of path which extends between the lower and upper ends of the plate. A limit stop (21) integral with the frame interacts with the path formed by the slots (16) in order to guide the seedling tray holder (2). IMAGE
