System to support the restart of a windmilling turbofan engine

The system has an emergency hydraulic pump (16) driven by an air turbine which is extended from the fuselage and is connected to the main hydraulic pump (4) circuit. The two pumps are connected to a fluid tank (7) by feed lines (8,17) and to the main servo-control hydraulic circuit (5) by lines (9,18). The main pump (4) is reversible and is connected to a system of selectors, pipes and distributors which allow the main pump to operate as a hydraulic motor fed with fluid by the emergency pump and allowing the rotational speed of the engine (1) to be increased.
