By the time series prediction of molten iron temperature and carbon concentration in converter according to amount of refining oxygen, the optimum oxygen amount and coolant are calculated by on-line real time to control the converter refining. The temperature of end point refining and carbon concentration are controlled according to the prediction method of carbon concentration and molten iron temperature using the exhaust gas and neural net. The converter end point refining control system comprises a process computer(100) which predicts the temperature of molten iron and concentration of carbon, a programmable logic controller(200) which controls the supplementary raw materials pattern, and a direct control system which controls the blow refining pattern.
