The present invention relates to shark cartilage extracts having direct anti-angiogenic properties (reducing the vascular area observed in vivo in an experimentally induced tumor), in vivo tumor regeneration activity and cell line, will be. The method consists of obtaining a mixture of cartilage whole from an aqueous solution of neutral pH, preferably pure water, and centrifuging the mixture to maintain the pellets and supernatant for further processing.
