The present invention relates to shark cartilage extracts having direct anti-angiogenic properties (reducing the vascular area observed in vivo in an experimentally induced tumor), in vivo tumor regeneration activity and cell line, will be. The method of the present invention does not use a denaturing solvent or a product and does not use an enzyme. The method consists of obtaining a mixture of cartilage whole from an aqueous solution of neutral pH, preferably pure water, and centrifuging the mixture to maintain the pellets and supernatant for further processing.
