The method processes calling failures by realizing a mutual converting method between the cause of failure specified internally in the system and the cause of failure provided by the No.7 ISUP protocol, and a tone or guide broadcast connection method when conversion is impossible. The method includes steps; a) investigating whether the cause of the calling failure of the ISUP can be mapped by examining the cause of failure table that is set up beforehand, b) entering the cause value and processing the specified recovery process and terminating if mapping is possible, or investigating whether guide broadcast can be connected if mapping is impossible, 3) process the guide broadcast connection and terminate if the guide broadcast is connected, or process the tone connection if the guide connection is not connected.
