BAND PRINTING METHOD WHICH PROTECTS BAND OVERRUN ERROR IN PAGE PRINTER

Band printing of page printer is operated as follows; (a) While storing and receiving the data into the symbolic data for each band, the exhausted duration for bit map conversion of each band is computed in advance, and the required schedule to show the required duration for each band is drawn up. (b) Before starting printing via real bit map converting working, the operating time for each band is all checked, and then one makes the band which is not likely to convert in certain standard time allot memory in advance and converts to bit map data so store it apart. (c) The band stored apart in printing and converting to bit map data based on the band order of a page prints by reading the bit map data operated in advance, therefore, band over-run error is prevented.
