The present invention relates to a digital V.C.E. audio data sink number extraction method in a 625/50 system, comprising: (a) counting 12 bits of data representing an order of input audio sample data; (B) multiplying the 12-bit data by mode 3 and multiplying by 3, (c) processing the 12-bit data by mode 54, (d) processing the 12-bit data by div18, (e) (B) adding the output values in steps (b), (c) and (d), and then adding 2 and outputting the values, multiplying the 12-bit input data bit by bit and multiplying the weights. Since the final vector value, that is, the sink number, is extracted by adding or comparing with bit destruction, the sink number can be extracted without using expensive hardware and general hardware of a large numerical operation.
