[0001] The present invention relates to a cathode structure to which a ferroelectric emitter is applied, an electron gun and a cathode ray tube using the same, and more particularly, to a cathode structure using a ferroelectric cathode as an electron emission source, and an electron gun and a cathode ray tube using the same. The cathode structure of the present invention comprises a substrate, a lower electrode layer formed on the substrate, a cathode layer applying a ferroelectric emitter formed on the lower electrode, and a cathode formed on the ferroelectric cathode layer, And a drive electrode formed on the electrode layer and controlling electrons emitted from the electron emission region of the upper electrode layer. According to the present invention, by applying the cathode layer using the ferroelectric emitter, the exhaust and aging process, which was a difficulty in manufacturing the conventional cathode ray tube, is technically simplified, and thus the cost of production is lowered. In addition, since a heat source such as a filament is not applied, the unit cost can be reduced, and thermal deformation of the cathode structure and the adjacent elements due to the heat source can be suppressed. In addition, since the electron emission method is performed by the instantaneous pulse, the electron emission is made quickly, and thus the image is provided in a very short time.
