Tin oxide based electroconductive powder and coating (TIN OXIDE BASED CONDUCTIVE POWDERS AND COATINGS)

The products and methods of the present invention are directed to electrically conductive powders of tin oxide doped with a combination of tantalum, niobium or phosphorous, or any combination thereof, and coatings containing such powders. These powders can be used to make transparent coated films that are conductive and have properties for a number of end uses. Some important end uses are in materials which, among other uses, include coatings for materials particularly related to static-dissipating fibers and films, coatings on recycled yarns, and packages in which the presence of certain heavy metals is not required.
