METHOD OF STUDY OF WOOD TEXTURE

摘要

FIELD: study of wood texture and properties. SUBSTANCE: method of study of wood texture includes manufacture of cylindrical specimen with generating line oriented across the wood rings; radiation of specimen with luminous flux square to specimen axis; registration of distribution of luminous flux along the specimen; control of distribution of maximum ; orientation of specimen relative to direction of luminous flux by turning round its axis to attain peak value of maximum; fixation of this position and repeated photometering of luminous flux. Porosity of wood, angle of inclination of wood rings, and wood texture are evaluated by the ratio of amplitudes of maximal in shift or turn of specimen. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
