SUBSTANCE: steel equal-flange angle section formed by flanges of invariable thickness with width-thickness ratio in excess of 10 and circular segment whose wall thickness equals the flange thickness in which flanges are arranged at angle of 60 deg, and internal radius of circular segment R is determined from the relation R=, where m 2 is numerical value of section cross-section rationality; bn is width of section flange, and n is width-thickness ratio. Novelty in steel equal-flange angle section consists in the value of angle of flanges conjugation and value of internal radius of circular segment.
