FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with chromatic retinal stimulation of injured eye through closed eyelid or hematoma. In the course of stimulation it is necessary to register the response for pupil diameter changes of the second opened eye, then analysis of concomitant pupil reflex is conducted and intactness of eyeball and optic nerve is predicted. Vision safety at trauma side is predicted at the presence of normal concomitant pupil reflex to light in second healthy eye. EFFECT: higher efficiency of medicinal-technological methods. 7 cl
