FIELD: gas purification. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial- scale preparation of granulated adsorbent for drying and cleaning oil and natural gases. Method makes it possible, with no preliminary treatment of clay before shaping, to prepare high-strength and water- resistant adsorbent, which in turn provides high-quality drying and cleaning of oil and natural gases. Clay is wetted to achieve solids to liquid ratio (4-5):(0.8-1), dried at 195-205 C, mechanically cleaned, and calcined at 445-455 C. EFFECT: increased adsorption capacity. 2 tbl, 1 dwg
