FIELD: reactive power compensation of abruptly varying loads at industrial enterprises, such as steam melting arc furnaces, by means of static thyristor compensators. SUBSTANCE: transducer has phase current and voltage signal multiplier with signal vector orthogonal to voltage vector of particular phase, stage of rejection filters at multiplier output and phase corrector at transducer output. Novelty is that set of desired quantity of forcing tipple sections is used as phase corrector each section being essentially operational amplifier whose noninverting input is connected through series RC circuit to common point and through parallel RC circuit, to output terminal of operational amplifier. EFFECT: improved efficiency of reactive-power transducer due to reducing nonlinear error of positive phase incursion and rise of amplitude-frequency response relative to unity within desired region of reactive-power envelope frequency spectrum of abruptly variable load. 3 dwg
