MEANS FOR CLOSING GLASS CANS IN SMALL-SCALE AND DOMESTIC FOOD PRESERVATION

FIELD: food industry; particularly closing glass cans with multi-use lids. SUBSTANCE: the proposed means includes rigid lid, flexible member positioned on inner side of the rigid lid, unit intended for attaching the lid to the can mouth, indicating member made in the form of extended projection and interacting with flexible member. The indicating member provides for visually checking displacement of the flexible member, which bulges in case of spoilage of product contained in the can. Relationship between mechanical parameters of the flexible member and its admissible displacement for given food product is determined by definite mathematical dependence. EFFECT: improved safety in using preserved food due to more precise and reliable determining of the moment, when it starts spoiling. 19 cl, 8 dwg
