METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR PREPARING EXTRA-PURE HYDROGEN

FIELD: hydrogen production. SUBSTANCE: aim is achieved through conversion of steam-gas mixture and conversion of carbon monoxide at pressure 0.105-0.110 MPa. The former process is carried out at natural gas to steam volume ratio 1:(1.75-2.1), and the latter at 370-470 K. Separation of carbon dioxide and water from gas mixture is performed by way of compressing gas mixture to pressure 1.0-5.0 MPa followed by stepwise separation of water and food-grade carbon dioxide through freezing-out. Diffusion of hydrogen is conducted at temperature of palladium membrane 773-900 K. Installation includes desulfurization unit, mixer, natural gas conversion reactor, carbon monoxide converter, compressor, water and carbon dioxide separation unit, and diffusion apparatus.
