FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: main part of drive is rotor rigidly secured on output shaft. Engine cylinders with pistons and rods are arranged on fixed housing around output shaft and parallel to shaft. Rods have sliders located in guides. Closed groove is made on side surface of rotor. Each slider is furnished with roller placed in a rotor groove. Geometrical shape of groove provides reciprocating of some opposed pistons in opposite directions at other opposed pistons remaining motionless and vice versa with simultaneous turning of rotor together with output shaft through quarter of revolution at each working stroke of pistons.
