摘要

FIELD: preparation of sorbents. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of inorganic ion exchangers which can be used for selective isolation of radionuclides from water in presence of hardness imparting salts. Sorbent is characterized with high selectivity for strontium radionuclides in solution in presence of hardness salts, which results in increasing distribution coefficient for these radionuclides and thereby increasing specific volume of strontium nuclide-free water, and reducing consumption of costly reactives. Such result is achieved by way of producing necessary ion-exchange form of material directly at the time when Mn(III) and Mn(IV) oxides are precipitated owing to cations contained in alkali metal hydroxide and permanganate. Heat treatment is carried out at reduced temperature 140 to 300 C - strictly optimal temperature of heat treatment is necessary for definite ion-exchange form. Hot paste is granulated in water.
