Method involves interaction of hydrogen peroxide with cyclohexane at heating in the presence of sodium tungstate or ammonium para-tungstate, phosphoric or pyrophosphoric acid and quaternary ammonium salt of the general formula (C_nH_2n+1R₁R₂R₃)+NX where: n = 6-20; X - at p = 1-20 at mole ratio (cyclohexane) : (hydrogen peroxide) : (phosphoric acid) : (quaternary ammonium salt) : (tungsten salt) = 1: (0.1-0.3) : . Method ensures to increase selectivity of the end product formation to 78-100% (by peroxide) and 97-99% (by olefin). Method ensures to carry out reaction at high yields of the end product at 40-80 C.
