FIELD: devices for communication, computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording and storage of received delta-modulated signal, detection of single-pole pulse bursts in recorded sequence, generation of analog signal from this pulse sequence. If this signal is increasing or decreasing during each pulse of input delta- modulated signal for given clock interval T, then this corresponds to polarity of said pulse. Output signal is generated by means of filtration of analog signal. In addition method involves detection and processing of bursts of pulses with opposite polarity, generation of digital signal which corresponds to type of delta- modulation, converting of generated digital signal into analog signal with varied sampling rate. output signal is generated from latter analog signal. Corresponding device has detector of polarity of received pulses, which information input serves as device input, arithmetical-logical unit, clock oscillator, digital-to-analog converter, integrator and low-pass filter, which output serves as device output. In addition device has unit for information processing and subsequent coding. Said unit is connected to output of arithmetical- logical unit, its output is connected to input of alternating-sign digital-to-analog converter, which output is connected to serial circuit of integrator and low-pass filter. EFFECT: increased precision of detection of source signal when single approximating voltage is generated for arbitrary type of delta-modulation by means of decreased distortion caused by slope overload and sampling noise.
