FIELD: communication lines; aeronautical communication; linear telemechanic systems; telemetry, etc. SUBSTANCE: antenna has strip of half-wave dipoles joined together by means of two parallel bracing rods through insulating washers; half-wave dipoles are made in the form of cylinders shortened due to end capacitors and provided with two coaxial holes one of greater diameter and other of smaller one to receive bracing rods; each next dipole of antenna strip is turned through 180 deg relative to plane passing through axes of dipole holes; bracing rods contacting dipole body in smaller-diameter holes of same diameter as holes function as external conductor of linearly polarizing circuit. Bracing rods in larger-diameter holes of the same diameter as linearly polarizing circuit being used function as internal conductors of linearly polarizing circuit; capacitive coupling of integral and external conductors of linearly polarizing circuit is provided through insulating washers between dipoles. For shaping nondirectional elliptically polarized directivity patterns, insulating washer between dipoles is replaced by round dipole antenna arrays assembled on printed-circuit boards and placed in center of wave cylindrical dipoles. EFFECT: provision for shaping nondirectional linearly or elliptically polarized directivity pattern; simplified design and improved operating reliability of antenna.
