METHOD FOR SEED REPRODUCTION OF EUSTOMA RUSSELIANUM (LISIANTHUS RUUSSELIANUS) IN VITRO

FIELD: agriculture, particularly, conservation, reproduction of gene pool and preparation of sanitated planting stock. SUBSTANCE: method involves sterilization of seeds, steckling, cultivation and transplantation of transplants into nutrient medium. For preparation of seeds they are wetted for 10 min in 2-% solution of calcium hypochlorite and washed 4 times in sterile distilled water with 5-10-min interval. Steckling of eustoma seeds and also organo- and rhizo-genesis of transplants is conducted on 50-% mineral media added with 20 g/l of sucrose, 6 g/l of agar and 0.5 mg/l of indolylacetic acid at pH 5.8. EFFECT: higher germination of seeds, higher coefficient of seeds reproduction and preparation of uniform seeds.
