METHOD OF PREDICTING ASEPTIC NECROSIS OF FEMORAL BONE HEAD IN CHILDREN

FIELD: orthopedics and traumatology. SUBSTANCE: objective of invention is to predict development of aseptic necrosis of femoral bone head after closed reduction of congenital dislocation of hip in children up to three year age from primary radiograph of hip points. To increase accuracy in predicting aseptic necrosis in children with congenital hip dislocation, prediction is made by way of X-ray metering on radiograph of front/back hip joints. Novelty of invention is determining coefficients of degree of displacement of proximal metaphysis of femoral bone upwards and outwards in respect to swivel cavity and evaluation of their values as compared to normal state data. Method motivates course of preventive treatment of expected aseptic necrosis in the event of its unfavorable prediction. EFFECT: increased accuracy of disease prediction.
