FIELD: monitoring of production processes on food-processing industry, evaluation of quality of meat, semi-finished products, finished meat products and sausages. SUBSTANCE: portable device with power supply both from built-in galvanic cell and from external network has two measurement systems: system measuring depth of dipping of indenter into examined product and system measuring force on indenter emerging in process of dipping. System measuring movement has hinged bearing ring put on examined product and mechanically coupled to meter of movement carrying pulse counter with digital movement indicator. Force meter presents circuit incorporating indenter, drum with set of force-setting sleeves and indicator which operates when effort on indenter equals force to which workings sleeve is adjusted. Signal emerging with it stops operation of pulse counter in system measuring movement. value of movement corresponding to specified effort is registered by digital indicator. EFFECT: reduced labour input, increased functional reliability of device.
