FIELD: radiomeasurements of frequency of resonance-tuned systems used in radio engineering and quantum mechanics. SUBSTANCE: method involves supply of signal to oscillatory circuit input and variation of oscillatory circuit parameter until desired reading is obtained on indicator coupled with oscillatory circuit; double-frequency signal is supplied, its frequencies being ω1=ωres+Δω, and ω2=ωres-Δω,, where Δω is chosen proceeding from expected quality factor of oscillatory circuit, and parameter of the latter is gradually varied to tune to resonance. Resonance-tuned moment is recorded while performing 100% modulation of output signal when its envelope is brought to zero. EFFECT: improved accuracy of resonance tuning due to high-accuracy resonance-tuning moment detection.
