FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: increased protection from corrosion with simultaneous reduction of scale of earth work, labour and material cost can be achieved by arrangement of complex of anticorrosion cathode protection with anode grounding member, comparison electrode and auxiliary electrode buried into earth close to at least part of metal or metal-containing objects of protection and located at sites according to operating conditions with respect to climatic, geographical and geophysical factors. Provided is at least one converting substation in the form of housing protected from direct weather precipitation and sun rays. Laid between converting substation and protected object are electrical power and measuring circuits, and connected to aforesaid converting substation are ends of these circuits. Provided are panels and boards for fastening of units and components of electrical equipment of converting substation which create protective potential shaper accommodating power unit based ob direct current source, ensuring delivery of difference of protective potentials between protected object and anode grounding member. Control system has functional units, such as unit for separation of controlled potentials and checking and protection unit, and inlet control unit with switch intended for at least three modes of protection. One ends of aforesaid circuits are connected with outputs of protective potential shaper in converting substation, and other ends are connected with protected object, anode grounding member, and comparison electrode. Connections of units and components of protective potential shaper are effected between each other and with circuits with creation, depending on actual potentials at protected object and both electrodes, of corresponding protective potential at protected object. Checking and protection unit and at least one more unit from control system units are arranged on common board, and all remaining units and components of protective potential shaper of converting substation are mounted on separate board.
