HIGH-VISCOSITY MARINE FUEL FOR MIDDLE-SPEED AND LOW-SPEED MARINE DIESELS

FIELD: fuel production. SUBSTANCE: first version of fuel contains 94-98 wt % of narrow straight-run fraction boiling off within the range 350-500 C and (to 100%) thermal cracking residue with density 1040-1095 kg/cu.m. Second version contains 47-49 wt % of aforementioned narrow fraction, 47-49 wt % of secondary cracking process distillate with boiling range 350-500 C, and aforementioned thermal cracking residue (to 100%). Third version contains two latter components, 94-96 and to 100 wt %, respectively. Invention thus provides common for middle- and low-speed marine diesels, environmentally safe, high-viscosity fuel with improved performance characteristics: reduced content of sulfur and noxious organic and inorganic impurities, narrow fraction composition, reduced volatility of light fractions (and practically full absence thereof), high stability and combustion efficiency, better low-temperature properties, and pumpability. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics.
