METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXTREMUM CONTROL OF SECOND-ORDER ENTITIES

FIELD: extremum control of continuous time-lag entities in searchless extremum control systems. SUBSTANCE: true and false output coordinates of linear link are recovered in second-order continuous time-lag controlled entity with series-connected linear link and nonlinear link with nonmeasured output coordinate of linear link basing on measured output coordinate of linear link; after trial step, true output coordinate of linear link is determined, control signal is shaped in trial and next working steps as function of linear link output coordinate and its extremum value is found. Method is implemented by device that has second-order continuous time-lag controlled entity with series-connected linear and nonlinear links and control unit in the form of extremum regulator, master unit, static supervisor, extremum detector unit, reversing flip-flop, and switch. EFFECT: improved capacity and economic efficiency of control process, improved noise immunity and resistance to vertical drift.
