FIELD: organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of halide magnesium salt of 17-carboalkoxy-4-aza-5-androst-1-en-3-on with tert-butyl-amino magnesium halide, its molar ratio to ester being at least 2: 1. The product is prepared from tert-butyl amine and aliphatic /aryl magnesium halide at environment temperature in inert organic solvent. The process is carried out in atmosphere of inert gas, it is followed by heating and by isolation of desired product. EFFECT: improved efficiency.
