FIELD: biological control methods of environment can be used for finding and assessing technogenic pollution of atmospheric air. SUBSTANCE: method of bioindication of air medium pollution comprises determining resident staphyllococcus bacterium presence in children of younger shool age, finding ratio values of resident staphyllococcus bacterium presence in the investigated zone to similar value in background zone, and if the value is greater than 3, air medium is considered to be polluted. Resident staphyllococcus bacterium presence is judged by the presence of persistent characteristics of golden and epithermal staphyllococi taken from the mucosa of frontal nasal department, and the background characteristic is assumed to be level of resident staphyllococcus bacterium presence at 8.1%. Use of the claimed invention makes it possible to improve trustworthiness and efficacy of bioindication of air medium pollution and to issue on ecology the regions to be investigated. EFFECT: more efficient method of bioindication of air medium pollution.
