Prodn. of materials from renewable raw materials or mixts. of these with biologically produced, semi-natural, semi-synthetic and/or synthetic polymers comprises mixing, compacting or pelletising them with K, Na, ammonium, Ca and/or Mg salts in varying proportions. Also claimed are methods of making mouldings, films or foamed components from this material; and the mouldings, films, foam or packaging fillers produced.
