The pump comprises at least one piston element executing reciprocating motion in a guide sleeve between two reversal points. The guide sleeve situated in the region of one of the reversal points has a closable breather hole. The sleeve can be connected to a delivery line and has a connection point for a supply line situated in the region between the two reversal points. The guide sleeve is constructed in modular form and may be formed as a guide module, a supply module and a pressure sleeve.
