The coupling has two halves (1,21), each with a valve body (10,30) in its internal coupling chamber (4) which presses against a conical rod (6, 26) in the decoupled state to form a seal. In the coupled state the ends of both valve bodies press against each other, leaving an opening cross-section (39) between the valve bodies and the inner wall of the coupling housing. The valve body is made in one piece from an elastic material and has a fixing ring (13) connected via carrier arms (12) to the central body of the valve body. The fixing ring is supported by an annular groove (5) in the internal coupling chamber. In the decoupled state a sealing rib (14) of the valve body is pressed against the conical rod.
