The sucking point of the drinking station is formed by a drinking plate with teat (7) mounted thereon. The plate (5,6) can be deflected against a force. It has a basic position inclined pref. 45 degs to the animal and can be moved upwards through a movable fixing on the top edge of the plate. The drinking plate has a stable frame and should be at least as wide as the drinking station. The plate can be made from transparent material. At least one of the two side boarders can be of transparent material . This allows a check on the animal to ensure correct sucking ADVANTAGE : Allows better access to teat and natural head movements of animal.
