The call connection system allows a connection to a mobile subscriber (9) associated with one satellite point (19) to be established via an adjacent satellite point (20) when the attempt to establish the connection via the first satellite point is unsuccessful. Pref. the diversion of the call connection to the second satellite point is initiated via the first satellite connection point. The selection of the second satellite connection point is made using stored data.
