Echo canceller stepping width controlling method - using quotient of estimated values of dispersal of input signal and error signal, multiplied by squared norm of cross correlation coefficient vectors and squared input signal level
The stepping width control method uses the quotient of the estimated values for the dispersal of the input signal (x(k)) and the error signal (e(k)), multiplied (M) by an additional factor. The additional factor relates to the ratio of the squared (Q0-Q2) norm of the cross correlation coefficient vectors and the squared (Qx1) input signal power level. The cross correlation coefficients (K0-K2) between the input and error signals and estimation values for the input signal power level are calculated for each sampling step.
