Experimental data evaluation method - choosing step width between digital samples statistically for mathematical method used within data processing as well as between repeatedly performed data processing

The method involves digitizing experimental data, requesting measurements from measuring device in equidistant steps, and delivering these measurements to a computer for data processing by use of known mathematical methods. The data processing is performed repeatedly in non-equidistant steps. The step width between samples is chosen statistically for the mathematical method within the data processing as well as between the repeatedly performed data processing. The results of the repeated data processing are subjected to median value determination and error analysis.
