Installation adjustment method esp. for CCD surveillance camera - using computer with data processing unit to perform automatic measurement of supervision field of camera during installation

The method involves adjusting at least one CCD camera to its installation environment, such as a closed room or a passage. The camera supervises its space in such way, that both persons and/or objects, their movement direction and/or their motionlessness is recorded and conveyed to an access control system. The access control system includes an evaluation unit for processing the digitized information. A computer with a data processing unit runs an application program, which performs an automatic measurement of a supervision field at a maximum of person and building security.
